Listen as traditional slave tales are brought to life. Buried within these captivating tales are themes which educate and celebrate African American History.

Dylan Pritchett is dedicated to passing on the rich African oral tradition of storytelling. He is the past president of the National Association of Black Storytellers and has provided narration, served as a performer and consultant for a number of historic broadcast documentaries.

This program is made available through a grant from Arts for Learning.
